So, where to search for land for sale buy in Spain?  Well, we all know the Google search engine can answer nearly any question, so, why not start your search there....  alternatively, why not search property portals KYERO or IDEALISTA.

Jumping ahead a little and assuming you have now already chosen a preferred location.  Also, have you chosen between a mountain escape with vast land or maybe a smaller plot for sale near the beach.  Once you have purchased the land, you need help to design and build your own house in Spain (unless you're an architect and have a building company that is).

One great example is to ask the team at Zebra Homes real estate agents Guardamar for a list of local architects and building companies who specialise in this service.  Luckily, we know many experts who offer this service and we'd be happy to introduce you.  They will advise you on the possibilities, legalities and limitations to ensure your property meets all the legal criteria etc.  Building time can take from 6 months to 12 month (or more), it really depends on many factors such as locaiton, size of property, type of land, builders used etc etc.
