This week we visited two of the more local courses to our offices - La Marquesa golf club, Quesada (Rojales) and also the 5* la Finca golf resort.  We couldn't have wished for any better weather to enjoy the tranquil surroundings and to see some of the new properties being built on local golf courses here on the Costa Blanca.

Why are more people buying golf properties in Spain?

During the lockdown we have seen a shift in peoples priorities and many are now seeking properties in Spain that offer more space, green areas and (of course) lots of sunshine.  A particular increase from our Scandinavian clients from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark (any many more) who are seeking an escape in the colder winter months back home.  Since BREXIT and an improved GBP v EUR, we continue to see the demand for properties on golf courses from British buyers.  The emerging markets are from our Belgium and Dutch clients, all looking for their very own place in the sun.
