Will i Have To Quarantine When I Return From Spain

As the effects of Covid-19 and the Coronavirus pandemic continues to impact us all, we see many of our clients asking, "will i have to quarantine when I return from Spain?".

Since the U.K made the quick decision to remove Spain from the (safe) travel corridor list of countries, it has been a hot topic both in Spain and the U.K with many people looking to fly over for thier summer holiday or to visit their holiday home in Spain and along the Costa Blanca in particular.

Whilst we must all adapt to #TheNewNormal and make responsible decisions to help prevent the further spread of Covid-19 and a possible second wave of the Coronavirus, many people are trying to return to some kind of normal.  

Infection rates of the Coronavirus have increased in Spain since the country ended the state of alarm at the end of June and re-opened many borders and welcomed the return of tourists and clients but (as reported in the news) the majority of these are in 2 or 3 specific areas and some restrictions have already been put back in place.

Popular with tourists; the Costa Blanca has a much lower rate of new cases and the regional governments are trying to persuade the U.K Government to reverse the recently imposed 14 day quarantine rules for people arriving into the U.K from Spain.  Many people feel that due to the tighter controls in Spain (that include mandatory wearing of masks) means it's actually safer than the U.K and any recent increases in new cases have already been confined and a further outbreak prevented by re-implementing restrictions.

So, will i have to quarantine when I return from Spain?  at this time, it seems yes but there are still talks being held and a reversal has been rumoured within the next 10 days...  For the time being, we will have to wait but as soon as we find out, we'll let you know.
