Buying Property In Spain During Coronavirus Update

More than 6 months into the pandemic; we thought it was time for another buying property in Spain during coronavirus update and to explain how we have been managing since the return to the office in the summer and what is happening now.

Like most industries and businesses along the Costa Blanca, we are heaviliy reliant on tourism (as many of our clients come from overseas or from across Spain) and the lock down and restrictions have impacted on free movement in many areas and subsequently impacitng on those clients looking to buy a property in Spain.

Since officially 're-opening' in July; we did face some further set backs as Spain was taken off the (safe) travel list for many European countries.  Some countires (such as the U.K) imposed a 14 day quarantine period for any clients returning to the UK from Spain.  This did not deter the faithful who were determined to enjoy a holiday in the sun and to even search and buy properties in Spain.

Whilst we do rely on many clients from across Europe, Zebra Homes real estate Guardamar are a Spanish company and continue to see visitors from across Spain and also local people looking for a new property in Guardamar and the surrounding areas.  In fact, we have seen a real mixture of clients and sales over the last few months.  Our most recent sales include clients from Spain, Canada, Belgium and Sweden.
